"I am a son of Boston. I am a proud graduate of the Boston Public Schools, as are all of my four siblings. I am the child, husband, and brother of Boston Public
School teachers, and all of my nieces and nephews of school age attend the Boston Public Schools. Simply put, ensuring that every single one of our children
in Boston receives a high quality education is a deeply personal issue to me."
“I believe in a Boston where everyone has opportunities to succeed. People can only have that opportunity if there is a clear pathway out of poverty. For all the single parents raising their children, I see you. For all the children who go to bed hungry, I see you. For all of the families looking for a pathway out of poverty, I see you. You exist. You matter. I am your candidate and I will be your Mayor. I am running because everyone deserves a voice in the direction of our city."
Greening our city and implementing a long-term
approach to addressing climate change encourages economic growth and helps improve our public health
and our overall quality of life. The safety and cleanliness of your environment should not be determined by your race, nationality or income level. By committing to these goals, we can make sure that we give our children a better city than we have today.
